Clomiphene - Clomid - Serophene |
Clomiphene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) used
mainly for female infertility due to anovulation. It mainly helps to
increase the chance of multiple babies. Clomiphene mainly inhibiting
the action of estrogen on the gonadotrope cells, which is in the
anterior pituitary gland. These estrogen receptors prevent the
recycling of the body. Because of this the body releases more
gonadotrope-releasing hormone from the hypothalamus, which moves
towards the pituitary secretion of the follicle-stimulating hormone.
This helps the patient to increase the production of the ovulation.
Thus the Clomid work in the body of a patient and help the patient
to become pregnant. Now a day’s people have different type of life
style and different type of diseases.
Some of the se people having different life style and diseases are
restricted for taking the Clomid. People having the frequently drink
of alcohol which containing the beverages, blood vessel disease,
blood clotting disorder, cyst on the ovary, diabetes, liver disease,
mental depression, ovarian carcinoma, smoke cigarettes, unusual
uterine or vaginal bleeding that has not been evaluated by a
gynecologist, an unusual or allergic reaction to Clomiphene, other
medicines, foods, dyes, or preservative, patient are already
pregnant and breast-feeding are not allowed to take Clomiphene. So
avoiding these situation doctors only prescribe Clomid or Serophene
after conducting various check ups and test to the patient. These
check ups and test helps the doctor to identify whether the patient
is apt for using this medicine.
